Theatre Pedagogy
This line of research integrates researchers who study theatre from an educational perspective, from different approaches. It covers the possibilities of theater as teaching and learning practices, focusing on theoretical and methodological concepts related to the practice of these arts in schools, as well as in various educational and cultural institutions, and in community contexts. It also includes mediation and artistic reception in educational settings, both in approaches aimed at audience formation and in issues involving studies on aesthetic experience.
Professors: Diego de Medeiros Pereira; Flávio Desgranges; Heloise Baurich Vidor; Vicente Concilio.
Theater, Society and Scenic Creation
This line of research brings together researchers whose studies are related to theatre productions and their respective sociocultural processes. Through the links between Theater Theory and Sociocultural History, with a focus on contemporary phenomena, its studies analyze and investigate creative processes, their artistic and critical-conceptual procedures, as well as the structure and reception of the dramatic text and performance.
